Description
A rust and orange felt pillow with fringed edges laced together with an orange felt strip. Orange felt lettering, "S.T.C. Fredericksburg, VA." One of the suggestions for the institution's colors was earth tones, such as "rich orange and brown of autumn leaves." The colors of this pillow represent that idea. It wasn't until 1938 that the official colors became blue and white which was changed in 1985 to blue, gray and white.
